Notes
Pouch does not accept credit cards. Payments on the Pouch web store go through our self-hosted BTCPayServer payment gateway, and payment must be made with bitcoin via on-chain or lightning. To purchase from PHP, you can create a Pouch account and deposit from your PHP bank/eWallet. From there, it's a simple conversion to bitcoin, then a scan or copy/paste the QR code on the payment gateway to finish paying with Pouch. Of course, it's more steps than a credit card, but we save on payment processing fees (and pass on the savings to you).
Pouch has set the initial pricing on our store to have minimal markups. We do not strive our web store to be a profitable endeavor, but rather we are offering the web store as a service to improve access to bitcoin self-custody solutions for residents of the Philippines.
